Από τον προπολεμικό ρομαντισμό της προβολής των μνημείων και της παράδοσης μέχρι τον μοντερνισμό, την αφαίρεση και τη γραφιστική ιδιοφυία του 1960, καταθέτουν μια πρωτοποριακή και διαχρονική προσέγγιση στην προβολή της Ελλάδας ως μοναδικού τουριστικού προορισμού.

Ειδική αναφορά γίνεται στην ψηφιακή έκθεση “Imagining Greece”, έργο ομάδας επιστημόνων από διάφορα γνωστικά πεδία, το οποίο αναδεικνύει τη σημασία του τουρισμού ως στοιχείου ταυτότητας της μεταπολεμικής Ελλάδας. Η ψηφιακή έκθεση αποτελεί μέρος του ερευνητικού προγράμματος “Tourism and Nation Branding 1945-1990”. Τμήμα του υλικού της προέρχεται από τις Συλλογές, το Φωτογραφικό Αρχείο και το Αρχείο Ιστορικών Εγγράφων της Ιστορικής και Εθνολογικής Εταιρείας της Ελλάδος – Εθνικού Ιστορικού Μουσείου.
