The Gucci universe enters domestic space with Gucci Décor, a new collection from the iconic fashion house. Continuing their exploration of the nostalgic and the contemporary, the brand applies their weird and wonderful vision to a spectrum of homeware with an otherworldly bohemian flare. The Snake Vase is crafted from Richard Ginori porcelain. It features a striking illustration of a re-imagined ‘Gucci’ logo plaque. The handles are comprised of two three-dimensional coiling snakes – a repeating symbol in Alessandro Michele’s ready-to-wear collections for Gucci. The piece may be used to display floral or botanical arrangements, or displayed as an artwork in its own right. With its two-tone palette and pop cultural artwork, its styling combines classical and contemporary design tropes, for a uniquely playful yet sophisticated art object.
