Weird and wonderful Natti Vogel is back with erratic new single ‘Love For A Limited Time Only’ off EP Serving Body, capturing the poetry and theatricality of Queen garnished with choppings of the finest visionary ideas and marinated in the warm, gooey sounds of his instantly recognisable production. “Rich with melody”, the Cabaret-esque masterpiece has substance with an almost tangible weight, complimenting the eccentric overtones yielding an almost split personality, which is probably true considering Natti says: “I am serving you face, body and a whole bunch of other concepts surrounding interpersonal consumption: economic, sexual, emotional.”

Love for a Limited Time Only

I’m just staid in the corner
With the lines still stuck in the modem
You got your hipster boys, they’re so boned up
with their gazes saying “I’m on fire”

But does it get better?
Now that the lights no longer shy away in the winter
And is it worse than worse or for better?
II you don’t know by now
then I must be going, must go back

To this same day of the last year
I had counted the waves from the window
Get down, sing it out, Louise, bowl ‘em over
Cause this is Love for a Limited Time Only
It’s always someone else’s mess
That pays for our oasis now

Kaufman pours us some coffees
Miss Baker’s inventing fiancées
I never know which one to pity
When I’ve got a life supply and it runs so dear

Would you be an angel?
Hand me that pendant with the vintage dimple
And tell me now: is that not a woman?
If you don’t know by now
I must be going, must go back

To this same day of the last year
I had counted a string of Octobers
Get down, sing it out, Louise, bowl ‘em over
‘Cause this is Love for a Limited Time Only
It’s always someone else’s mess that pays for our oasis now

Her voice is thick, full of money, rich with melody
Old money is full of dying leaves
New money is sticky like the syrup from its trees….

But I’m still stuck in the bushes
Reading the shapes in the windows
Get down sing it out, Louisville is over
Cause this was Love for a Limited Time Only
It’s always someone else’s mess that pays for your oasis now
