Song of the Week: Nina Nesbitt ‘The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change’
After making waves with her unbelievably good “Somebody Special” back in January, rising Scottish singer-songwriter Nina Nesbitt is already back at it with another satisfying serving of pop excellence!
Written by Nina and produced by Lostboy, Nina‘s latest single “The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change” is an ethereal and purely heaven-sent, healing production. Talking about the song, Nina explains, “This song is the light at the end of the tunnel where you remind yourself that nothing in life in permanent whether it’s good or bad. It’s almost like a self-help song that hopefully people can listen to in times of need and be reminded that things are constantly changing.”
The dreamy, swoon-filled tune is full of warm atmospheric layers that ought to do therapeutic wonders when blasted loud during a summertime lay, nestling in nicely somewhere between the nostalgic-electronic sound of BROODS, Imogen Heap and Ellie Goulding. The vocal layering throughout makes “The Sun Will Come Up” sound like a lonesome transmission from another planet – it’s soothing A.F.
