Remember that infamous Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Madonna performance at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2003, during which the first two dressed up as brides and the latter played the groom? Well, Jennifer Lopez might have just topped that viral on-stage wedding with a bridal moment of her own.

Performing at the American Music Awards, the 52-year-old pop superstar serenaded the audience with her latest single, “On My Way”, while wearing a jaw-dropping look from Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda collection.

At the start of her performance, Lopez appeared on stage in a fitted black coat, but as her performance continued, she stole the show with an outfit reveal. The ultimate look consisted of a corseted cream tulle princess dress and a dramatic organza veil. To top it all off, Lopez threw her headpiece into the audience – much like a bouquet of flowers. Even though he wasn’t physically at the event, we can only hope Ben Affleck watched and got some inspiration.
