]]> The 48th annual American Music Awards took place at Los Angeles’s Microsoft Theater on 22 November. Host Taraji P Henson led the star-studded evening, which is one of the music industry’s biggest and most exciting nights. Some of the most-nominated artists from this year’s awards ceremony included The Weekend and Roddy Ricch, who earned eight nominations, and Megan Thee Stallion, who earned five nods. Performers included some of the biggest acts of the moment, including musicians such as BTS, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Jennifer Lopez and Maluma and Justin Bieber.

A-list celebrities hit the (socially-distanced) red carpet, showcasing their most theatrical and performance-ready looks before hitting the main stage. The awards show has a history of bold fits – remember Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s double-denim looks in 2001, or Lizzo’s tiny Valentino purse last year? – and this year didn’t disappoint.

Dior have just announced Cara Delevingne as the new face of its popular skincare line, Capture, and we’re getting some serious skin envy. Showing off her flawless face, Cara is fronting Capture Youth, a brand new collection of five anti-ageing serums.

Like many of Dior’s products, the serums are 85% natural and are designed for lifting, soothing, mattifying, plumping, and glow-boosting respectively. The formulas are also intended to mix and match to help create a customised routine, and ensure that all of us can fight off those early signs of ageing.

But why choose 25 year old Delevigne for an anti-ageing ad, you ask? Well, speaking to WWD, Christian Dior Parfums director Edouard Mauvais-Jarvis explained that: “The younger you start, the more chances you have to keep youthful features for a longer time”. (Excuse us while we furiously take some notes…)

So, showing it’s never too early to make a start, keep an eye out for the Capture Youth line launching in January, and hopefully we’ll all be looking supermodel ready in no time.

In her interview, Cara opens up about her struggle with depression, not being interested in clothes and more. “The fashion industry,” she tells the magazine, “is about surface, it’s not about what’s underneath, it’s not about being yourself. You don’t feel you matter as a person. You feel like it’s just about your looks—and it is.”
