JEREMY ZUCKER FT. BLACKBEAR – TALK IS OVERRATED (MANILA KILLA REMIX)

Manila Killa releases his official remix of talk is overrated by Jeremy Zuker featuring blackbear. It’s a sparkly rendition to the original, adding twinkling bells to the hook. This creates a soft contrast between blackbear’s R&B vocals and the main section of the story.

The single is perfect for easy listening, fishing, board game night, inputing data, pregames serving Brownies and Lemonade, snow storms, adding sprinkling to ice cream, singing in the rain, and eating right.

BOLIER FT. ROYA – ONE OF THEM NIGHTS

Boiler releases One Of Them Nights featuring Roya. I’m loving the dancehall vocals on this in front of a minimal soca beat. “Ain’t nobody do it the way that we DO, everybody watching as we come THROUGH.” The cadence of those lyrics have been stuck in my head for the day. This song is perfect for the club, car rides, late night, or pregames. Any party or elevation scenario as Roya’s vocals really take the energy up. Boiler does a nice job in producing a dynamic drum arrangement behind the vocals to match the energy harmony.

Roya has some sass behind her, creating an authentic, dancefloor vibe. The pop spin on the track really makes this perfect for remixing, seeing as Boiler has already released a remix of his own.

Bolier is a Dutch DJ and producer who also goes by BLR. He used to be a trance producer; however, he’s been changing his production styles with the times. He’s got many genre alter egos.

Kimbra is releasing a new album, Primal Heart, early next year. We’ve already heard “Everybody Knows” from it, and today the New Zealand pop artist has shared another track. It’s called “Top Of The World,” and was co-produced by Skrillex. The new song comes attached to a video directed by Guy Franklin that features Kimbra singing among some ancient columns that gradually collapse around her.

They’ve crafted this easy listening piece which ticks all the right boxes for a radio friendly tune, generating a catchy melody, sing-a-long worthy lyrics and just the right amount of vocal chop. Speaking of vocal chop, the sound during the chorus adds a really cool late night (after club) vibe. The vocal performance is another element which lifts the track to another level in my opinion, creating the perfect contrast and adding a perfect level of energy to the track. “Gold” is out now and available via the link below. Toronto based DJ and producer Patrick Quaggin-Smith aka Quaggin has dropped a crisp new remix for Justin Caruso’s amazing single “Love Somebody”. The added bounce on the instrumental really gives the track an entirely different flow, adding an energetic and fresh vibe. I love how the original vocal was incorporated here as well, making the remix sound like it was meant to sound like this from the beginning. Sadly the remix is somewhat short, but thank god for the replay button…you’re definitely going to need it, because it’s that good!
