Eau Claire – Room feat. CMG (Noce Remix)

It’s premiere time! Lights, red carpet…action….Here is DC/Bmore based producer Noce with his official remix for Eau Claire’s absolutely stunning single “Room” featuring Camille Michelle Gray. Even though this is the first time I feature Noce on the blog, he’s a seasoned producer, also representing 50% of Bête Noire….Suit & Tie remix…wink ;-)

For this track, Noce has made sure to boost the disco vibe, adding a super groovy bassline and some cool sounding horns in the drop. For me the original mix was already an earworm…and now…it has just made another imprint on the inside of my head.

The remix by Noce is out now on Eau Claire’s “All The Wonder” remix pack via Feed Me Disco, including versions by Zacheser and Nazariff and remixes by N2N and Enamour for the title track All The Wonder. Find all the links you need below and enjoy!

SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO ANNOUNCE FIFTH STUDIO ALBUM, ‘WELCOME TO SIDEWAYS’

James Ford and Jas Shaw of Simian Mobile Disco announced the band’s fifth studio album, Welcome To Sideways, this morning via Facebook. The LP, due out November 11th via the band’s own label, Delicacies, is the first full length since Whorl, which was recorded live in Joshua Tree in the spring of 2014. In the time between records, Ford has been focused on production work for big ticket names like Florence + The Machine and Mumford & Sons while Shaw has been continually working on solo material released on the band’s imprint.

Set to include SMD’s recent singles released this year along with a majority of unreleased material, Welcome To Sideways should be yet another exhibition of the driving, intelligent techno found on the duo’s Delicacies compilation LP released in 2010. In their announcement, Ford and Shaw promise the new record is “aimed squarely at the dancefloor.”

Lovers of Euro pop and nu disco, this one’s for you. Continuing their collaborative project, which has already given us such gems as Winter In The City and Savage cover Only You, London’s Nude Disco and Icelandic singer/songwriter Heidrun are back to reveal a brand new single this week. This Love is the title track off the pair’s forthcoming EP and, much like their previously mentioned releases, brings us a flawless slice of disco and synthpop goodness. Heidrun’s sparkling vocals glide smoothly over undulating analog bass, crackling synth notes and pristine piano for an emotive, nostalgic quality that works well to bring the duo’s distinctive 80s sound to the modern age. In other words, it’s plain brilliant.
