The Humanz bonus track features Rag‘n’Bone Man, Zebra Katz, and RAY BLK

Gorillaz have shared another new track from their forthcoming record Humanz. It’s called “The Apprentice,” and it features Rag‘n’Bone Man, Zebra Katz, and RAY BLK. The bonus song appears on the deluxe version of the record. Hear it below. “The Apprentice” premiered on MistaJam’s BBC Radio 1 show. Recently, MistaJam hosted the first-ever video interview with Gorillaz’s Murdoc Niccals and 2D. Humanz is due out this Friday, April 28 via Parlophone. Gorillaz briefly premiered the record on their augmented reality app.

Prior to “The Apprentice,” the Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett-created group shared “Hallelujah Money” (with Benjamin Clementine), “Saturnz Barz” (with Popcaan), “Andromeda” (with D.R.A.M.), “Ascension” (with Vince Staples), “Let Me Out” (with Mavis Staples and Pusha T), and “We Got the Power” (with Jehnny Beth of Savages). When Gorillaz announced their new album Humanz, they came back with four new songs. One was “Saturn Barz,” a track featuring Popcaan. Today, they’ve shared a new remix of the song by the Montreal-based production duo Banx & Ranx. Hear it on the latest episode of MistaJam’s BBC Radio 1 show at the 53:13 mark. Humanz is out April 28 via Parlophone. They’ve shared songs featuring Vince Staples, Savages’ Jehnny Beth and Oasis’ Noel Gallagher, and D.R.A.M.
