Jennifer Lopez isn’t new to Coach; she’s been an ambassador and was the face of their Mother’s Day campaign. Her recent partnership with REVOLVE on a shoe collaboration also echoes her versatility. This Coach campaign, however, is an intriguing iteration in her evolving relationship with fashion, marking a confluence of style, personality, and the eternal allure of the accessory.

The Coach fall 2023 campaign’s visuals, lensed by photographer Hanna Moon, center on the Shine collection, which brings a new glint to the iconic handbag brand. Of particular note is the Tabby handbag, showcased in a reflective silver mirror form. A pink rendition of the Tabby also makes a cameo, introducing a softer, yet equally compelling, aesthetic.

What sets this campaign apart is not just the accessories but how they are styled. Enter Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, the styling duo responsible for adorning Lopez in casual yet polished looks.

Bombshell blowouts and slicked-back up-dos are par for the course in Jennifer Lopez’s world. But a sculptural chapeau and feline flick? Those are Lagerfeld-inspired touches. To honour the Met Gala 2023’s theme, “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” Lopez complemented cat eyes and a polished tie-back with a veiled fastener, the resulting look a wash of Old World glamour.

Though her velvet and sateen Ralph Lauren halter made a statement all of its own, Lopez stayed true to her aesthetic by taking things up a notch. Worn astride a slicked-back midi bun, Lopez’s black topper featured a spray of onyx mesh, slightly frayed at the ends, the fabric styled to create the illusion of a cloud of smoke. It was a fitting frame for Lopez’s black cat eye and pink lips, a pairing that ensured the noir approach truly belonged to the Lagerfeld camp.

Performing at the American Music Awards, the 52-year-old pop superstar serenaded the audience with her latest single, “On My Way”, while wearing a jaw-dropping look from Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda collection.

At the start of her performance, Lopez appeared on stage in a fitted black coat, but as her performance continued, she stole the show with an outfit reveal. The ultimate look consisted of a corseted cream tulle princess dress and a dramatic organza veil. To top it all off, Lopez threw her headpiece into the audience – much like a bouquet of flowers. Even though he wasn’t physically at the event, we can only hope Ben Affleck watched and got some inspiration.

Remember getting dressed up and slipping your feet into something other than slides and slippers? Right now, it sort of feels like a distant memory, but we’re more than ready to embrace that lifestyle again — thanks, in part, to motivation from Jennifer Lopez.

The singer, actress, and designer is inspiring our fashion choices yet again, this time with her Spring ’21 campaign for her brand JLO Jennifer Lopez. One look at Lopez modeling her shiny, strappy, rhinestone embellished heels — which perfectly complemented her black cutout dress — and we started to feel swayed. Even if we’re still keeping our social life limited, there’s nothing stopping us from getting a little fancy, and as we’re swapping out sweats for cold-shoulder vaccine shirts and sexy pully tops, it’s time to revamp our footwear, too.

Of course, another deciding factor here is also the price point. These exact heels, which are called the Torrie Sandal and are exclusively sold at DSW, ring up at $80, meaning it’s possible to get the designer, celeb-approved look without shelling out thousands of dollars. And, considering these babies are so classic and fun, we have a feeling they’ll come in handy for years to come (especially for all those future weddings that will happen post-pandemic).

The surreal video was styled by Lopez’s longtime stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, and includes the trio’s signature glamorous aesthetic. Lopez plays an angel sent from above who happens to have exquisite taste in couture. It opens with Lopez floating in a celestial space, wearing a pastel Iris van Herpen gown that moves – no, dances – in the wind. In another scene, she lounges on a bed while sporting a crystal dress by Augusto Manzanares, a Peruvian designer, paired with dramatic Mother Plucker wings. She also wears the wings solo, with nothing underneath. (The nude, winged moment is a nod to a photo shoot J Lo did with photographer Tony Turan back in 1999.)

“It’s full of symbolism about a dark one-sided relationship and the realization that you can’t change anyone else… you can only change yourself,” Lopez wrote of the stylish video concept on Instagram. “Grow your own wings and walk away from anyone or anything that doesn’t truly value all you have to offer.” By decking herself in the best designers have to offer, J Lo shows just how much she prizes herself. Other standout moments from the video include a white, curve-hugging gown by designer Marco Marco; a glamorous tinfoil look, consisting of a metallic Graham Cruz top with a matching Lever Couture skirt; She even plays high-fashion mermaid, “swimming” in the air wearing a silver Manuel Albarran top and Iggy Soliven tail.

The best fashion moment of all, however, comes near the end of the video. Lopez emerges in a tiered, feathered Valentino coat that stands several feet high, complete with a Marianna Harutunian crystal mask. (Harutunian is a jewellery designer who has also made custom pieces for Lady Gaga.) Because the only thing better than J Lo is a gigantic, Valentino-clad J Lo.

Can we talk about the chemistry between JLo and Maluma though? There was that one moment when they were literally breathing each other and, well, I mean I wondered. They’re entertainers, of course. And it’s part of the art, of course. And they’re in a movie together that’s coming out next year so they’re obviously working the early promo… but still. I don’t know how anyone can ignore the heat of JLo and I don’t know how anyone could ignore the heat of Maluma.

Well-accustomed to grasping an Hermès Birkin in tow, J Lo swapped out her cachet purse for another It bag: Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicily style. Like the Birkin, many famous faces have shown preference for the calfskin top handle – Karlie Kloss, Victoria Beckham, and the Duchess of Cambridge among them – and now J Lo is on board. Available in a variety of sizes, shapes, and finishes, the star opted for a bright purple medium 58 iteration to stash her personals.

This city look offered quite the switch-up from the duo of fearless outfits she sported hours earlier at the Microsoft Centre in Los Angeles. Shortly after taking to the red carpet in a scintillating Balmain co-ord, the star brought her A-game to the stage in a semi-sheer bodysuit from LaQuan Smith as she performed her latest hit “Pa’ Ti.”

Following her appearance, J Lo hopped on a private jet with her family and headed to the West Coast. In a snap that A-Rod shared to Instagram, that showed one of their Labradors Lady in the foreground, the singer can be seen reclining in her knitted Coach cardi and jeans upon an Hermès blanket. We wouldn’t expect anything less.
