All of these house muses and more appear in a Chanel “family photo album”, photographed by Anton Corbijn and unveiled on 26 January along with a film that captures the spring/summer 2021 couture collection. “I wanted to bring the models together for family photos, like those you see in photo albums,” said Viard of the project. The friends of the house duly gathered at 31 rue Cambon (newly redecorated by Jacques Grange), where they were dressed in new-season couture as well as previous collections, and invited to pose for the relaxed black and white portraits in the heart of Chanel’s couture salons.
