On the Met Gala red carpet, 23 stars proved their dedication to fashion by wearing stylish pairs of shoes that made as much of a statement as their ensembles. As we all know, shoes can really make or break an outfit, but on the red carpet they sometimes feel like an afterthought – they can either be hidden under voluminous gowns or simply employed to add some much needed height. From pumps in unexpected colours, to chunky hoof-like boots, the Met Gala had it all!
