A hidden gem in Evia 1 hour from Chalkida and 2 and a half hours drive from Athens, in front of a sandy beach with crystal clear waters, is the Ilia Mare Hotel….With big spacious rooms with all the amenities, it’s a family business and you should not miss the home made breakfast choises overlooking the light blue waters….We had a wonderful time and we could not get over how close we were to Athens and how far at the same time!! is n’t it a paradise or what??
