Renowned architect Kengo Kuma, the creative force behind both EDITION properties in Tokyo, has redefined the concept of a Christmas tree for 2024. His designs for the KIGUMI and KOMOREBI trees are not merely decorative but serve as profound statements of renewal, sustainability, and artistry. With the expertise of Karimoku Furniture, a leader in Japanese craftsmanship, these installations transform from festive displays into bespoke furniture pieces destined to last a lifetime.
The philosophy underpinning these trees is deeply inspiring. Crafted from six types of wood, including oak, Japanese maple, and North American walnut, it showcases the beauty of Japan’s rich natural resources.
