Ahead of summer 2021, Dolce & Gabbana presents their new fragrances named Light Blue Forever, both limited editions of the iconic original Light Blue from 2001 and Light Blue Pour Homme from 2007.
The bottles feature the same silhouette as the original versions, now colored in lighter blue shades inspired by the intense shades of the Mediterranean. Golden touches are added to evoke the dazzling rays of the Mediterranean sun breaking on the waves.
Light Blue Forever is described as a sunny and sensual scent that evokes memories of long summer days amidst the blue of the Mediterranean Sea. The composition, created by perfumer Olivier Cresp, opens with fresh top notes of green Granny Smith apple and Calabrian lemon. Orange blossom and white flowers form the heart of the perfume, in an attempt to create a joyful sun-kissed bouquet. A trail of Virginia cedar and cashmerean wrapped in white musk ends up in the base.
Top notes: Calabrian lemon, Granny Smith apple, blood orange
Heart: orange blossom, white flowers
Base: cashmerean, Virginia cedar, white musk
It will be available as a 25, 50, and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
Light Blue Forever Pour Homme is developed by perfumer Shyamala Maisondieu. Notes of cold-pressed grapefruit zest and Italian bergamot bring citrus scents from Capri. The composition develops with invigorating green notes of violet leaves combined with the marine freshness of an ozonic accord. The base contains woods and white musk.
Top notes: grapefruit zest, Italian bergamot
Heart: violet leaf, ozonic notes
Base: patchouli, white musk, Java vetiver
It will be available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
