Produced by Cam Blackwood, the deeply personal song is the second single to be taken from Cooper’s forthcoming third album, due later this year. “It follows the release of previous single “Waiting On a Blue Sky”.
“Diamonds and Gold” is a soulful dedication to Cooper’s wife. He explains, “It’s a song about beauty showing up when you don’t expect it. It’s a song I wrote for my wife: ‘Some men find riches in riverbeds, some find them way out at sea, some ancient maps say they’re underground… but I found you here on my street.’ This feels like an incredibly abundant time in my life. I’m grateful to be able to share it with this song.”

SABRI – Ring By Spring
Breakthrough singer-songwriter SABRI returns with her latest single, ‘Ring By Spring.’ This compelling track, her first release since signing with EMPIRE, explores the deep-seated frustration of broken promises and the emotional impact of a relationship that didn’t pan out. With empowering lyrics and her lush, raspy vocals, the single beautifully highlights her exceptional artistry.
Produced by Sak Pasé, the reggae-infused track features a relaxed, sultry rhythm that underscores a smooth groove laying the perfect foundation for SABRI’s rich, emotive vocals. Themes of self-worth, sacrifice, and the realisation of personal growth are powerfully conveyed in ‘Ring By Spring’, as the song questions the value of giving everything without receiving the same in return.
This single marks SABRI’s first release since 2022 when she dropped her debut EP ‘Actually, I Can.’, through which she explored similar themes of empowerment. SABRI explained, “I grew as a woman and now it’s time to fucking shine and live the life I deserve.”
Speaking on ‘Ring By Spring’, SABRI shares: “Ring By Spring’ is a reflection on unfulfilled promises and the heartache of expecting a future that never came to be. To me, it represents the realisation of my worth and the frustration of giving everything in a relationship, only to receive nothing in return. It’s a powerful reminder to not keep waiting, to not be afraid to choose yourself, and to have the courage to move on.”
SABRI hasn’t slowed down this year, featuring on Nigerian Hip-Hop artist Olamide’s latest album ‘Ikigai’with the track ‘Knockout’ and Grammy nominated artist Yung Bleu’s album ‘Jeremy’ with the track ‘Reading The Room.’ Previously, she collaborated with multi-disciplinary artist Full Crate, an international force in underground music celebrated for his laid-back beats and melodic vocal features. Known for working with notable acts such as BJ The Chicago Kid, D-Smoke, Kyle Dion, Gaidaa, Naomi Sharon, and T3 of Slum Village, Full Crate teamed up with SABRI for the 2021 track ‘Tell Me Why.’
Raised by a Moroccan father and an Algerian mother, SABRI, born Loubna Sabri, was captivated by R&B, Soul, and Hip-Hop from a young age. By just 4 years old, she was already influenced by iconic female artists like Lauryn Hill, Aaliyah, and Mary J. Blige, whose powerful voices inspired her to pursue music. Over the past few years, SABRI has blended these early influences with elements of Pop and House, crafting a distinctive sound. Her artistry has resonated widely, earning her millions of organic streams on Spotify.
‘Ring By Spring’ showcases SABRI’s powerful style and the unique soundscape she has crafted for herself.
