The Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino hosts the outdoor exhibition Guardians of Serenity by Richard Orlinski, blending contemporary art with the natural landscape of Messinia.
The Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, a resort known for its understated luxury and connection to nature, introduces a new cultural initiative for the 2025 season. In collaboration with Kapopoulos Fine Arts, the resort is hosting an outdoor exhibition featuring four large-scale sculptures by internationally acclaimed French artist Richard Orlinski. Titled Guardians of Serenity, the exhibition is on view until October 1st, 2025, offering guests an opportunity to experience contemporary art integrated seamlessly into the natural environment of the Peloponnese.
Art in Dialogue with Nature
At Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, art is more than visual ornamentation; it is part of the guest experience. Positioned among olive groves and the rolling hills of Messinia, Orlinski’s monumental sculptures act as symbolic “guardians” of the landscape. Their presence invites reflection on balance, inner calm, and the relationship between humanity and nature.
Each sculpture carries its own symbolism:
Low Relief Mick Blue offers a moment of pause and introspection, encouraging contemplation amid the resort’s activity.

Richard Orlinski: A Global Artistic Presence
Since beginning his career in 2004, Richard Orlinski has become one of France’s most commercially successful artists, known for bold, large-scale sculptures inspired by pop culture. His signature style features clean lines, polished surfaces, and vibrant colors, often placed in public spaces to make art more accessible.
Orlinski’s works are featured in major cities worldwide, and his collaboration with Kapopoulos Fine Arts has introduced his art to key locations in Greece, including a dedicated gallery in Mykonos. With nearly seven million followers on social media and official recognition from the French Ministry of Culture, Orlinski continues to play a significant role in the global contemporary art scene.
At Costa Navarino, his sculptures take on a new role—as silent observers and symbols of the inner peace that the resort encourages its guests to find.
