In one of the more baller comeback moves of recent times, Arctic Monkeys have spent this morning clogging up everyone’s news feeds with a seemingly endless stream of festival headline announcements.
The message is loud and clear: they’re back. They’re going to completely dominate Summer 2018. And you can’t ignore them even if you’d want to try.
As well as slots at Spain’s Primavera and Mad Cool, Poland’s Open’er and Glasgow’s TRNSMT (their only UK festival announced so far in the run), the band have also unveiled a whole slew of European dates this summer.
They’ll be playing – deep breath… Best Kept Secret (Netherlands), Hurricane Festival (Germany), Southside Festival (Germany), Rockwave Festival (Greece), Rock Werchter (Belgium), Nos Alive (Portugal), Oya (Norway), Way Out West (Sweden), Flow Festival (Finland) and Sziget (Hungary).
