Cuba’s people, culture, food and music are a wonderful mix of African, Caribbean and Spanish influences. Trust me, even if you’re not a good dancer, there will be no stopping your hips from moving when you hear the intoxicating latin music and African drumming!
Most people who visit Cuba go on an all-inclusive resort holiday to Varadero, but they’re missing out! There are many reasons why Cuba is better outside of the resort and travelling here independently is considerably more rewarding than simply sipping cocktails from a beach hotel.
Apart from some restoration, the buildings and vehicles are the same as they were back in the 1950’s, which is definitely one of the huge draws of this country, as this is something that we just don’t see anywhere else.
