Flight Facilities – Stranded feat. Broods, Reggie Watts & Saro

Australian production duo Flight Facilities is back with “Stranded.” The song features Broods, Reggie Watts, and Saro as well as additional instrumentation from Stella Mozgawa of Warpaint (drums), Piers Lane (piano), and Touch Sensitive (bass).

The song starts out as a bit of a piano ballad with Broods’ Georgia Nott on vocals. The underlying Daft Punk-esque groove slowly fades up to the front as Saro joins in for a stunning duet with Nott. There are a bunch of false starts as different singers take over until around the 4:10 mark, when the drums finally kick in. The duo also uses beautiful strings throughout. As all the singers mesh together with their own style at the end, it’s a really powerful finish – and just a powerful tune overall. We’ve been patiently waiting for this moment, and we’re ecstatic that Flight Facilities has returned.
