Now that Cuba is open for travel and tourists, the hotels are arriving. Today we get the word that Cuba’s First Five-Star Hotel Due To Open This Year. The hotel is known as The Gran Hotel Kempinski Manzana La Habana, which looks to be quite a luxurious spot to stay. The hotel will be housed inside the historical Manzana de Gómez building in the heart of Old Havana. The building is located centrally and within walking distance of many local attractions.

Views of the Capitol, the Great Theater of Havana and El Floridita can be seen from the hotel, while also boasting a rooftop pool and lounge area. The design will boast 246 well appointed rooms and suites, while guests will be treated to a Swiss Resense spa, three restaurants, lobby bar, rooftop terrace with swimming pool, in-house cigar lounge, and all important free Wi-Fi.
