IVIS 4, one of the most sophisticated boutique hotels in central Athens, has now a brand new restaurant. The new IVIS 4 Restaurant is opening, bearing the signature of the award-winning Chef Giannis Loukakos.
IVIS 4 is located in the heart of Athens, in the area of Psyrri, in one of the most picturesque and quiet neighborhoods of the city, within walking distance from the Metro stations Thiseio and Monastiraki, the Acropolis, Kerameikos and Plaka. It lies in the heart of an area full of life and color, between the flea markets and the countless picturesque antique shops, theaters and galleries.
In this neighborhood with a long tradition in crafts and artsy spaces, the architectural firm aWish transformed a building that has housed for decades glass and hagiography workshops into a modern hotel and restaurant. In the rooms and public areas, one can admire unique murals by the well-known street artist SimpleG, made exclusively for IVIS 4. The ground floor of the reception and restaurant runs through oversized graffiti, inspired by nature, being a point of reference and creating a visual continuation of the ‘secret garden‘ that exists in the backyard. A special green space, which certifies that the hotel is not only a place to spend the night, but a holistic experience of escape and relaxation.
Guests can choose from 14 spacious, luxurious and functional rooms and suites, impeccably designed, with views of the Acropolis, city or garden and enjoy at Restaurant IVIS 4 a wonderful culinary experience with the menu signed by the award-winning Chef Giannis Loukakos. The restaurant is located on the patio and in the garden of the hotel and is the only place where you can try dishes inspired by the famous Chef in the center of Athens.
Giannis Loukakos designed in IVIS 4 a menu based on excellent raw materials and combines the Greek tradition with a freer version of his culinary philosophy, creating excellent all-day comfort food, from brunch to evening! Try dishes like Greek Style Burger, Spinach Pie in salad form and comfort dishes like velvet potato soup and Italian orecchiette pasta with avocado sauce.
