Never complicate things when crafting a cocktail with Lunazul Tequila. A premium spirit from a long lineage of tequila makers, who make it simply with 100% agave. We had the chance to try Lunazul Blanco with friends and we all quite enjoyed it! We enjoyed shots with lime, a salted rim and also a few cocktails. Lunazul is great however you like it and is now our go to tequila. The premium tequila fits any occasion well. You can enjoy it in an upscale bar, among a few friends at home, or any gathering, and look good doing it.

We shared the crystal clear un-aged Lunazul Blanco Tequila with our friends. The shots we enjoyed were smooth enough to skip the lime. In fact, we recommend doing that so you can enjoy the fruity apple, and citrus notes that suit the agave well. The texture of Lunazul is silky with a peppery vanilla finish, and that pairs well with bubbly mixers and juices. That fact led us to making a few cocktails of our own. We freestyled a Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita and a Mango Tequila Oasis using Lunazul Blanco.

Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita

How to make:

  • 4 ounces Lunazul Blanco Tequila
  • 6 strawberries
  • 4 jalapeno slices
  • 2 limes juiced + 1 slice for garnish
  • 2 ounces simple syrup
  • raw sugar
  • margarita salt

In a cocktail shaker, muddle together strawberries and 3 jalapeño slices. Once well blended add, lime juice, simple syrup, Lunazul, and top off with ice. With the cap in place, shake the mix thoroughly for up to a minute. Take your favorite margarita glass and coat the rim with raw sugar and margarita salt mix, add ice, strain your drink from the cocktail shaker over the ice. Garnish rim with strawberry slice and jalapeno, then enjoy! Recipe makes 2 servings.
