If you’re in the mood for some soothing vibes, then this new release by Noosa is for you. With a smooth indie/electronica sound design and an atmospheric and slightly haunting vocal performance, Noosa manages to calm me right down with this release. The instrumental provides the perfect backdrop and once it picks up pace it also gains a little bit of club appeal. Part of the track was also produced by Pierce Fulton, which also explains this influence.
Toronto based producer and DJ Shaun Frank has released a new single this week called “No Future” featuring Dyson on vocal. Unlike some of his earlier releases “No Future” is surprisingly laid back, with a distinct pop influence. This also makes this one of his more radio friendly tracks to date. The vibe is a little reminiscent of The Chainsmokers and Steve James, which might give you a slight indication of what you’re in for.
“No Future” is out now on Ultra Records (his first own release on the label) and available via most major platforms (see link below).
Who doesn’t remember the classic pop track from New Radicals “You Get What You Give”? Now U.S. based producer Felix Cartal has decided to cover this awesome track, bringing a bit of oldschool to the dance floor. Don’t worry though…Felix Cartal hasn’t messed anything up by making this cover. It’s still as classy as ever, but now it’s brought back into the 21st century.
So if you feel a little nostalgic, or just want to listen to a dope piece of music, you can do so right here below. Felix Cartal’s version of “You Get What You Give” is out now via most major platforms. Enjoy!
