I come from the city of Ioannina but I rarely visit it because of the distance from Athens… everytime i come, i stay in a different hotel, yet the safest choice near to the lake and the cafes and restaurants is Grand Serai.
I am not sure if it is five stars in all the aspects but it sure is luxurious in breakfast, in the lobby area and in staff’s attitude
Very clean,with many parts added in the basic building, accepts outside guests in the pool, but this can be very annoying for the hotel guests because you cannot find a shade during the hot summer days…
Finally I would like to add that in a hot Saturday evening the pool area is closed for guests with locked doors and this is a shame because it cannot meet its purposes and becomes a decorative feature.
